Hello, I am Michaela Wandling , a small town girl raised in Northern BC Canada. I am a Power Engineer/ Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Fiancé to the love of my life and proud dog Mom. From a young age I suffered from stomach aches that caused sharp pains and the occasional hospital visit, headaches that would cause sleepless nights and have always been an anxious person. During College things took a turn for the worst and I realized it was time to make a significant change. I wanted to improve my health naturally without the use of harsh chemicals and antibiotics etc. that the doctors were suggesting. To me the pills felt like they were just masking my symptoms. I wanted to find the root cause of what was triggering the stomach aches, headaches and anxiety/stress that were disrupting my daily life. I started doing my own research and adapting my diet towards more whole organic foods and improving my lifestyle with the information I found. I did a lot of trial and error to figure out what worked and didn’t work for me and overtime developed a new, healthier way of living that benefited me by improving my digestion which therefore enhanced many other aspects of my life i.e. increased energy, motivation, had less headaches and the ability to channel my inner Zen. I felt accomplished. While doing my research I realized just how many other people are affected by these discomforts to the point of having to put their lives at a standstill. I realized that I would love to be able to help those who are willing to put in the effort be able to tackle their health issues and find the true reasons behind the symptoms. That’s when I stumbled upon CSNN (Canadian School of Natural Nutrition). CSNN offers an amazing course to demonstrate the importance of natural nutrition in complementary with health care. The Natural Nutrition Program consists of 17 courses, covering natural nutrition relevant to each stage of life, as well as sciences. It also teaches about the connection between body, mind and spirit and how it is an integral and important part of healing. It is scientifically demonstrated that our state of mind and spiritual wellbeing affect our physical health. I have completed the diploma program and am now a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. The information I have learned has increased my passion for health and wellness immensely. Adapting my whole lifestyle into one that involves whole foods, non-toxic cleaning products, Essential Oils and learning ways to better cope with stress, have in turn improved my overall health and wellbeing. I am excited to share this knowledge with my future clients and to be there to support them with their health issues. I have taken interest in fertility, hormones, disordered eating habits and their relationship with self-love. My goal is to create an individualized journey that will improve all aspects of clients lives and leave them feeling Rooted.
